fuel

Featured Replies

can anyone tell me how to empty my fuel tank i got a skoda superb 56 plate and its knacked but i have a full tank of diesel i wont to get out how can i do this thanks

If the engine will run, disconnect the fuel return hose at the bulkhead and extend into a can. With the engine at idle, a tank can be emptied in about 10 mins.

If the engine will not run, lift the mat in the boot, remove the cover plate (3 rusty screws) and hotwire the fuel lift pump. Disconnect the delivery hose at the bulkhead and extend into a can.

Why is the car scrap?

rotodiesel.

remove the fuel line from near the tank and let gravity help you? or if you have a pump could you access the fuel filler pipe near the tank from behind trim in the boot? you scrapping the car? if you are I maybe able to take one or two parts of you.
