Front parking sensors

Featured Replies

My Yeti is the 1.2 TSI SE which came with rear parking sensors as standard. Can anyone advise if it is possible to retro fit front sensors and if it is, at what sort of cost?

Over to TP for this one I think. I personally would say that the cost would far outweigh the cost of adding them to the original order, if it were possible.

Hi,

as rockhopper has stated to fit front sensors as per factory installation would be quite costly. Parts required would include a new controller, wiring, sensors and internal activation switch.

TP

Didn't I read somewhere on here that these aren't even available as a factory fit at the moment due to the shortage of parts from Japan?

The options of front park sensors or park assist used to be also available on both the SE & Elegance, currently though you can only order them with the Elegance spec.

For the time being that looks like a "no" then. Thanks for the replies.

Well you can always fit an aftermarket setup. They come with colour coded sensors with a display that you mount just under the windscreen. Will do exactly the same job but just not show up on the Bolero.
