Door mirror problems

Featured Replies

My problem is actually with a 2005 Polo, but it's basically a Fabia.

About 50% of the time, all is OK. No fault present.

The rest of the time my nearside electric door mirror has the lens "wobbling" as though it was loose. The actual glass is firmly fixed and so is the housing.

When this happens, if I select either mirror and move it up, the opposite mirror goes down at the same time. This happens with both mirrors and it doesn't matter how I try and move the position, the opposite side mirror moves as well.

I can't find anything mentioned about this on the forum. Has anyone else seen this fault, please?
