Hi everyone I'm a newbie from Kent, I currently drive a white Fabia Greenline II 1.2tdi Estate, I also have a 1.2 Yeti in red.

I am now a complete Skoda convert, I was so pleased with my Yeti, which I have had for 15 months, that I have since purchased a Fabia Greenline II as my round trip for work is 220 miles, I thought it to be the car for me and my family needs.

I picked up my Fabia in March and it's now just had it's 10,000 mile service (June), although driving it very frugal I have only once acheived 90.1 mpg and that was at full consentration at 56 mph the entire way of 110 miles 15 miles A roads 95 miles Motorway, Salisbury Wilts to Maidstone Kent it was hard going!

I drive mostly at around 60 -65mph (to expensive to drive any faster) and the car averages around 75pmg which I think is way off the mark that Skoda says it returns, but it's still better than most cars out there.

I had the service done at Aylesford Maistone where I purchased both vehicles, on my journey in to work today the Fabia only returned a feeble 58.8mpg, just wondering if I had a head wind or not? I'll soon find out this evening on my return journey home.

Has anyone eles experienced the same low mpg returns at low to moderate speeds? look forward to hearing from you.
