Front Passenger Door, Central Locking Problem.

Featured Replies

Dear All,

My front passenger door seems to be dead locked. When the car is unlocked using the remote, all doors unlock except the front passenger. When tried to open manually from the inside, as you pull the internal door lever the lock extends upwards, but when released the lock retracts. Took it to a few workshops, all are making it sound like its a very big and costly issue.

Can anyone please advise? Thank in advance.

Thats good to know, but how do I get the door open to remove the trim to access the lock mechanism?

Can't help with that as it wasn't opening when I dropped it off and, as if my magic, it was working on my return. I would assume you could move something in the lock with the window down to open the door, it seems to work in films!
