fabia vrs 2 seats

Featured Replies

can any one tell me if the seats in the fabia vrs estate are the same as those in the hatchback. The reason I ask is that i might be getting my seat in my estate retrimed by the seat surgeons and the have done a few of the hatchbacks, but no estate and they are not sure if the seats are the same.

I'm pretty sure there exactly the same

Exactly the same

Just to confirm what has been said above they are the same.

I should think so, mine look identical to the hatch I test drove :)

I think getting the seats retrimmed might add a touch of luxury and flair that the Fabia seats miss really. Interested to hear you're opinion when you get it done and how much they charge.

Same here!

looks like i might have to wait for a retrim, they dont have the pattterns for the new vrs, so need a car for 2 weeks so they can get the pattern. They would have done me a great deal if they could use my car, but as I live up in Scotland and they are in York its not possible for me.

whats wrong with the stand seats exactly, at the end of the day their nice and the interior overall in the Fabia is pretty cheap and one of the things that lets it down. honestly cant see how a leather retrim is going to make it feel loads more luxurious sorry

Seats and cloth material are of high quality, nothing wrong but leather would look mint. Funny enough MK1 vRS seats will fit :)

leather does make a difference, the quality of the seat material is not the best and leather is easier to keep clean and takes more abuse. I have only had the car a few weeks and i can already see some wear in the right side bolster of my seat and the material is starting to bobble already. The seat material is far better than the old faia vrs but it does seem less durable than other cars. I had my fiesta st for 4 years and there was no wear on the side bolsters which were part leather and like i said i have had the car less than a month and the wear is starting already. What will it be like in a few years?

Sorry wouldnt buy a car like a Skoda Fabia then go to the trouble and expensse of retrimming its perfectly decent seats, complete waste of time in my book but each to their own. BTW leather tears and scratches much more easily than cloth, bet a leather retrim once a few years old would look more tatty than the OEM arrangement.

Best seats I had were in my ST2 - cloth Recaros. Next was my RX8 Leather and sport but bolsters not great. For me the fabia seats in cloth are decent enough, better than the RX8 in leather but not quite up to the shape and feel of the Recaros in the ford.

I would not bother to re-trim mine but each to there own and would be interested in updates. Always good to see what others do even if its not to your taste.
