This happens when i accelerate to set of and then when i brake, so its sounds like something moving back and forward. Once it clunks when accelerating it wont clunk again till i brake to stop. But once i have stopped and accelerate again even at slow speed it clunks!!

Plus the clunk sounds from front passenger side ish

Front wishbone rear bush or anti-roll bar drop link would get my vote. Unless your brakes are falling off... :o :p

Let us know how it gets on at the garage.

Exactly the same as mine. Everyone on here will tell you it's the 'console bush' but as the guy above says, my money's on the anti roll bar bushes!

Thanks for the advice mate its not the wishbones he checked them but we didnt get time to take the sump gaurd off so he is doing that tommorow. If it is anti roll bar bushes or drop link are they exspensive?

Iv just had the same problem, polybushed my whole front end changing various parts to try find it. Was the anti roll bar bush knocking setting of and braking. £35 and some 19mm powerflex bushes later and no clunking!
