Loads about this, I know. At low speed over certain surfaces I get this faint 'pulse' drumming noise coming from the rear. ( I think )

When I go above 25mph it disappears. I have Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas on the front and Conti Sport Contact on the rear ( OEM )

I have had the tyres checked and they are not unusually worn/ misshapen, no sign of sawtoothing etc. Anybody else had this? Before I go for a fruitless visit to the dealership.

I just know that they will say " We can't hear anything" I suspect a bearing. Any other ideas? I need to sort this out before I drive to France in a couple of weeks.

I'd get the rear suspension alignment checked. And have it checked against these values:

Old values are: -1°45' ± 30'

New values are: -1°20' ± 30'

Probably better visiting a proper setup place, rather than the dealers as they often don't have particularly decent equipment for suspension checking/setup. Make sure you get a before and after printout as well.

Try a swap around with your tyres (put the front two on the rear) and see if you still have the problem.
