Picked up new Octavia MPi (1.6 p) estate last week, love the car. With engine on and idle (say at lights) there is vibration under drivers seat. It's intermittent, say every 5s for 1s, a wobble like someone driving past. Rev counter unaffected and stays flat at 750rpm. Opened bonnet and engine vibrates like normal and then slightly shudders which I suspect is the cause. Pulling away at low revs sounds a little throaty. Exhaust splutters slightly. Garage going to inspect but I suspect this may be just what the car does ? Appreciate engines do move but the MPI I tested didn't wobble. Would appreciate thoughts...flywheel or injector or cylinder not firing ?

Quick update after seeing the mechanic. This is normal and nothing to be concerned about. Apparently the engine needs time to bed in. Time to enjoy the car...!

Check the Spark Plugs, I think one of ur engine's spark plugs stops working for a sec or two
