Can anyone help me to identify a piece of heatwrap that I found adrift under the bonnet of my VRS PD? I have tried my local Skoda parts counter but they can't identify it, even after sending a photo to Skoda UK. It's a sort of foil covered fabric material, about 6 inches long, that clips together in three places. I think it wraps around some of the wiring that sits between the engine cover and the bulkhead, but I've no idea whether it is of any importance.

Any ideas?

Is it the part up the top of the engine,to protect the wires from the sensors around the turbo?
