1.9 SDI

Featured Replies

Just priced up new clutch with an independant garage for a 04 fabia sdi 1.9 diesel. He gave me a price of £275 but said if you have a dual mass flywheel that may need doing at the same time, price £250.

He said depending on your engine code you may not have a DMF. My engine code is ASY 180 586. Does anyone know if I have a DMF. Please excuse my lack of knowledge, posting in wrong place, asking questions that have been answered before.

I have searched the forum and googled it but could not find an answer.

Thanks.

SDIs don't have DMFs. It's only on the TDI

How often does DMF's on Fabia fail?

How often does DMF's on Fabia fail?

How long is a piece of string?

Depends entirely on how the car is driven, how much power it's running, and luck of the draw as well

I mean, like, does it happens more often than, lets say on Toyota D4-D engines?
