Just wondering if anyone has experienced a high pitched squeak eminating from under their car when traversing any sort of bumps. we have only had our car a couple of weeks, and discovered the noise when we opened the side windows. it is hard to state the vicinity of the noise, but seems to be louder from the drivers side window. you cannot hear the noise when the windows are closed.apart from this little annoyance we are very pleased with the car and the 1.2 engine matched to the dsi box is just superlative!

sorry I don't know the technical jargon, but this sounds like your suspension doing it's job. Our Yeti makes a 'pneumatic' type squeak when going over speed bumps.

Mine does this as well. It is nice to hear the suspension is doing its job. Hear it most when going over speed humps....too many around where I live.

It's probably nothing more than the rubber bushes in the suspension doing their job.

thanks for the replies. from what you have said, sounds like nothing to be concerned about. I had booked the car in for investigation, but may cancel and just wait for first service.
