ITG cold air feed vs. Evoms cold air feed

Hi All

I am just about to order one of these intakes, but which one is "coldest"? I ask because the ITG seems to NOT draw air from the front of the car - the Evoms uses the standard inlet and intuitively it seems as if it gets more cold air than the ITG. On the other hand, the ITG is widely recommended, so I guess it takes in cold air from another place?

The car to fit is an Octavia vRS TFSI.
