it's under the lower part of the centre console

found it! was bolted to the metal directly behind the dials :/ cheers anyway Tom

edit: i dont think my felly has the lower part of centre console you speak of after comparing it to other felicias on google images :p

apologies, yes you are quite right, i was thinking of the airbag control unit, the airbag unit is under that plastic panel in the centre with the two cup holders formed into it... the immobilizer unit and central locking unit are both behind the instrument panel
