I lent my girlfriend my car for the weekend and got it back and the aircon has stopped working :(. I have looked at the fans when the air con is on and they only work intermittently. Is it likely to be the compressor? I only bought the car from skoda in feb and it is still under warranty. Will this be covered by the warranty and do I have to take it back to the garage I bought it from in peterborough or closer to where I live in norwich? Thanks for any help in advance.

Had mine stop working last year. Thought maybe a re gas would sort it , but garage looked at it and compressor was shot. So set me back £400 ish at an independant to fix. I would argue them to fix it under warranty.

If its a manufacturers warranty take it to any skoda dealer, I would recommend getting it sorted under warranty and then you dont need to worry with getting the right diagnosis!
