I have updated the firmware on my MDI with this update, it seems to have improved the stability, no problems at all since the upgrade, I was getting 'No device' messages occasionally.

Just had my Octavia II Estate with MDI (built December 2010) in for its first service. I have put up with the iPod skipping/stuttering thing since I took delivery and was looking forward to getting the firmware updated to fix this problem.

The dealer swears blind that no such firmware update exists, so I still have the problem. I know I could fix it myself but I don't have a USB cable for the MDI and find it frustrating that the dealer can't or won't do it for me. Has anybody seen anything official from Skoda (as opposed to VW) that confirms that this update exists?

Hi all, I have my Fabia currently fitted with the base Swing head unit. I'd like to upgrade to Bolero or Amundsen, and it's important to me to stay strictly with original skoda/VAG parts - no aftermarket Android units or third-party adapters. Hi All, I know this is a topic that seems to have been covered a million times but my vRS has become a problem child. It was losing a small amount of coolant and I would get the odd whisp of steam from the back, I diagnosed a leaking EGR Cooler (confirmed with off car pressure test) and a small water pump leak. Airbag error, what can reset it?

During my hardwire dash cam install, I removed the trim which holds the passenger airbag switch and unplugged it. Now (unsurprisingly) I have an airbag error on the dash. I’ve cycled the ignition a few times in hopes that would reset it, I also tried enabling and disabling the airbag with the key, still no joy. Is this something I can reset at home? I’m hoping something like ODBeleven free plan can do it, but it’s difficult finding out what the free plan can actually do.
