Supber II audio upgrade

Featured Replies

Hi everyone

I currently have a Superb on order, a 2L 140bjp Elegance with the upgraded stereo, however I have the option to change it still via the lease company and I have a Greenline on test this weekend

Now the downside of going for the Greenline is that there is no OEM audio upgrade option and this is quite important to me. So my questions are

1) For those of you who have done it themseleves or had it done, what sort money are we taking about to get external amp, sub fitted and speakers replaced? I know it will dpend on the quality of components, but lets assume mid-range best bang per buck is the key driver here and don;t won;t to be paying silly money...

2) Do you know any car audio specialists in the East Mids (Nottingham/Derby) or even south yorkshire area (Sheffield, Donny) that would be capable of undertaking the task and do a good quality job for me?

thanks all :)

Best to do some online research but you could be looking at upto £1k if not more.

In the Midlands, I've always used Car Electronics and they have a centre in Derby. Best to pop in and talk through your requirements.

Here's the website

Has anyone done Skoda Bolero speaker upgrade, i.e. from 8 speakers to 10 speakers?

If you have, please tell us more about it! Price of the components, easy/hard to perform etc.

Thanks a lot in advance!
