My car a 2L TSI is due in for a service next week (2 years nearly and 18700 miles done), so decided to take the remap off and run for a week without it.....boy do you notice the difference. Apart from 1 anxious moment when I first started the car after doing it (it misfired and threated to stall ) it is running OK, but just doesn't have that extra grunt (wow factor), yes it gets to the speed you want but just differently, slower, engine noise sounds and no more economic! Or am I just been paranoid?

I just cant wait for post service to get the remap back on.

I never get this when I put mine back to standard but yeah it feels really slow in comparison to stage 1 and 3.
