thanks for the replies on buying a fab est 1.4 16v when i done a hpi check the car was an undeclared write off which the seller tried to fob off as light panel damage 4 yrs ago the car is only 4 yr old.so i didnt buy car.just a little warning to do an hpi check on any car it only costs £8

iv'e now sourced an 2003 1.9 tdi 66,000miles 7 stamps in service book anything to look for with this model ???

Check the cambelt and water pump have been replaced at least once.

Should be due for its 2nd cambelt around now (4 years / 60,000 miles) so it should have had one in 2007 and now 2011 as its not meeting the 60k thing. Aside from that, not much else compared to any second hand car.
