I have a replacement pair of roof channel inserts. Do you think it would look good to paint before fitting? I am thinking silver to match the car's main colour, or metallic black to match the roof...

Any thoughts?

Plan of attack would be:-

thorough clean & dry

remove all rubber inserts

plastic primer coats x 2

black magic black coats x 2

lacquer x 2

flat wet-sand, polish and fit.

on the elegance their body colourd....

After checking my channels, I think I am going to go black magic metallic. Little project when the sun is out.
