Superb "Cat"Vision

Featured Replies

Anyone have any details or pics of the "Cat" vision on the interior of a Superb?

its very subtle and going to be very difficult to take a picture of.

Basically the centre console area is lit in a very subtle blue shade at night using what must be LEDs mounted by the interior light, its very discrete and you don't even notice it when driving until you look at the console.

I know the Passat SE has it, so maybe you have the little red LEDs in the drivers overhead lights.

The 'Cat vision' in the MKII Superb is now white, the MKI Superb and many VW's had red LED's.

Agree with above posts, VERY useful and subtle touch. Wish I could have it in my Octavia, but I have built in phone and cannot be bothered with removing things and getting an interior light from the MK1 Superb (as the MKII Superb has a different interior light) to make it fit. Plus the ones with Cat Vision do not come in black so wouldn't match the black roof lining I have in the Octavia.

So subtle, that I've never noticed it in my Suberb, after 11 months of ownership. Will check this evening.

I think it's useful and as stated it is now very subtle white light being projected down to the center console area.

This is the subtle white light from CatVision.
