Its time for the 70000 mile service for my Fabia vrs and I wondered if anyone had any recommendations for non dealer garages in the Leicester area that I could book in with??

Do you know what is checked/changed on a 70k service? I never use main dealers but i find the easier stuff like filters etc are best off done yourself. I then book any more serious stuff into a garage for them to do ie water pumps/timing belts etc.

Oh, and im leicester based and have always used Cambridge Road Garage in Cosby (a small indy) and they are exceptionally good at all cars(ive took my last 4 cars there over 10 years) and prices are very good indeed.

EDIT Ive recently had the cambelt/water pump done at the above garage for £300 all in parts and labour (on a volvo though!).
