Standard 07 Superb Radio - no signal am or fm

hi, sorry if i missed anytime this has been covered before but on search i can only find threads about poor reception, however, i have no reception at all on am or fm, and obviously my itrip doesnt work either, tho the cd player works fine, ive checked all internal (rear of hu) and external (aerial to rear of car) connections which all seem fine and even pulled the fuse out and back in but as ud prob agree it cant be that since the cd player works, any1 any ideas, its a sunday so halfords waould be my only point of call and im perfectly capable of telling myself to buy a new stereo without some 16 yr old in halfords doing it for me lol, cheers in advance
