Who (in the Briskoda Community) knows IIRC VCDS codes?

Featured Replies

I need to know what line of code within the IIRC VCDS menu for lighting controls the function where the headlights turn themselves on at high speed, and what to change that line of code to if I want to a. raise the speed at which the lights come on or b. turn if off altogether.

Does anyone know the answer to this, please?

There is no setting to alter as its considered a safety feature, its therefore hardcoded into the system and cannot be changed.

Yes there is, and yes it can. I had a long chat with the Skoda technician and physically saw the lines of code in question. The Technician just needs to know which line is the right one. Skoda HQ confirmed that this is a parameter that CAN be changed, but emailed the guy to say that although it can be done, they would not indicate which line. Technician said if I could get info on the right line of code and what to change it to, he could and would change it, no problem.

If anyone knows the line of code and what to change it to, please let me know.

I don't want to start a debate on whether it can be changed, or why etc etc etc. so (and I mean this in the nicest possible way) if you don't know the answer I would really appreciate it if you could please refrain from taking this post off on a tangent! No offence intended.

you might want to pose this question to Ross-tech and they might be able to point you the code you want.

I ask them about defaulting my air con circulation to be always on and they provided the code for adaption.

Hope that help a bit.
