hi all,well my new unit has arrived,got it fitted in and the sound is excellent compared to my stream symphony radio, i can actually listen to MW now without any distortion to the sound,have downloaded my gps maps just need to get a micro sd card to put the maps on and then i can finish setting the whole unit up,but what i've seen so far of the system i'm very impressed!

got any pics of the install?

well got my micro sd card and loaded IGO8 onto it ,got a choice of tomtom /igo8/primo.

all done and dusted now just got to put new facia surround on,ordered silver one ,should look really good. As for install it's a straight swop no wires to piggy back ,just plug the quadlock connector into the new unit adapter and away you go.tried the BT phone on the unit and it's excellent ,just connect your phone via bluetooth and it loads all your phone numbers into the unit,phoned are lass whilst driving and could hear her through the speakers loud and clear and she said she could here me loud and clear and thats without using the optional cable and microphone,so all in all really chuffed with it. I routed the sat nav ariel above the glove box and attatched it to the left side metal frame near front passenger door,put the t.v ariel in the oddment tray above upper vents,very good tv reception as well all the freeview channels.

haven't used the ipod or usb on the unit as i don't have ipod,have enough media on my micro sd card and my mp3 discs to satisfy me.
