mk1 leon steering wheel

Featured Replies

bought thus for 99p but unfortunetely £9 delivery, still only a tenner. plan is to buy some "leather" material and try retrim it , didnt cost much so dont care if i mess it up. it looks as if its the same as the vrs but unsure. anyone know? loos the same to me but could be slight differences. plan is to cut the old material off, iron it out flat. then trace the pattern onto new material "fake leather" or something, and re stich it back up. think it will be harder than it sounds but worth a go for all the cost is.

Results?

haha need to practice, didnt cut enough "leather" and the stiching was a mess. but the stuff looks good when pulled tight. will wait for the proper thread to come and try again with more of the material. will post results when done.

why not just clean it up as per the guide in the general section?
