I need to run wires across behind the dashboard from right to left to the fuses, but can't figure out if there is a secret to remove the handle for the gloves box ?

There is not much room anywhere in there and I've not been able just to poke a stiff wire trough.

It is for a p-watch http://p-watch.dk/ automatic parking time watch - a necessity for parking in tine restricted areas. My wife just got a fine of 590dkr (~80€) for forgetting so set it manually. We have had the same p-watch in 2 cars previously (fabia and c5) and there was plenty of space to run the cables across.
