Joining this forum on recommendation from a friend who demonstrated his Superb's self parking capabilities. Couldn't afford a Superb so bought the Octavia from CD Auction group. I'm very happy with it so far. It's a blast from the past cos my Mum bought a 105L about 30 years ago in 'golden sand'. It had the engine in the back and a little panel in the back through which you could watch the road go by... nice if you're a toddler desperate for a pee!

Anyway, so far I've added a towbar (and found it a happy tow-car), and encountered the usual issues - cruise control not working (about to set about it with switch cleaner) and bonnet release not working. The rest seems good!

Now a proud Skoda owner I'm flashing other Skodas on the road (comes from old Robin Reliant days - my Mum's first car before the Skoda) - can't help it. So if you're in Ipswich and wondering - it was probably me!
