MDI

Featured Replies

Had my Superb Elegance for 2 weeks now. Still playing with the extras but wish I had fitted the MDI as an extra. Has anyone fitted this themselves as an after thought and if so was it difficult?

Not fitted it, but no its not difficult at all. Just get a complete kit from ebay and install. Dont get the kit for the armrest as it will not fit, get the one that looks like a small module rather than the one that looks like a single din stereo, and fit this in the glovebox.

This one for example.

I had mine factory fitted and its excellent. Kind of struggled with getting in and out and keep plugging in the iphone, especially as it makes it difficult to look at emails/texts (while stationary) so I have an old click wheel 32gb ipod that I've just loaded all my music onto and I leave it in the armrest all the time. hey presto!

Works a treat!
