problem with wires in the engine

Hello,

my Skoda Yeti was bought in Feb. 2011. Three months after a problem occurred( EPC signal, no engine power over 2nd gear). People at the garage said that it was caused by a misfitting wire . They fixed it. On July the 11th the same lights came out , like the first time.Now, they updated the software. I am disappointed, though, because i can not trust that it won't happen again.

Do you have similar experience ?
