top speed?!!!

on my 1st run i got about 175km/hr with 5 persons in the car including me then after a few months i had a problem with the engine temperature sensor that i didn't know of so the car heated up a lot without any cooling water i started having problems with the engine and when i went 2 the mechanic i saw this....

thats exactly how it was when it got off the engine!!

i got that fixed didn't get a pic but it was looking shiny metal as new with only the valves as they were and a little area around them stayed black still but not the whole circular area that corresponds to the piston

after that incident i couldn't achieve the top speed of 175km/hr i used to get even at 5 persons in car now i only do about 140 when i am riding alone and pedal to the metal....and the engine doesn't do so well when the car has load like 3 persons in it makes it feel so heavy i learned through internet there could be a problem with the displacement between the cylinder head and where it is fitted what is that?? help here please!! if yes what should i do

also the screws that tights the cylinder head they are not done with torque just by regular hand ... does that affect top speed??

why does the engine feels soooooo out of power

what should i do??

- mostly likely the valve-clearences (tappets) have been set wrong-

there's many posts here regarding how to set them and the proper gaps-

lets hope its as simple as that to fix-
