Thoughts on Subs/Amps.

Featured Replies

I'm looking to get a sub to fill out the sound in my fabia. I have an alpine 9830R HU but have left speakers as they are - I'll upgrade as and when they go POP!.

I don't want loads of bass, just sufficient amounts to fill the gap left by the standard speakers and I have been drawn to the following deal at Car Audio & Security:

From the reviews I have found on the net and drawing some conclusions from articles concerning other vibe subs, it seems like a perfect solution. Another possible course of action would be the following:

Just after some opinions....

Remember, I don't want ear-splitting bass. I want low frequency fill with

control and not the booming associated with larger subs.

I have one of these...

It's not too big, custom enclosure with amp built onto it....you can put stuff on top of it and it'll take it without overheating.

SQ is immense. (As you'd expect from alpine.
