2001 Skoda octavia remote central locking

Hey i just bought a 2001 1.4 skoda octavia ambiante and only received one key with no buttons on it....

Skoda say it doesnt have remote central locking just via the door locks. but when i turn the key and hold it in the door the windows go up and down..

Im wondering if any1 has found a an alarm or system in which it acts like the newer models when you keep your finger on the open button the windows open and likewise with the lock button... or even if any1 knows where the wires are in the car that actuate this feature
