Black Diamond Pads...

Featured Replies

iv recently had Black Diamond Fast Track Pads and Brembo Max discs fitted to my car, and they howl like a Bi*&h, they are really loud, anybody know if this is normal with the pads/discs??

Are they drilled and grooved discs? If they are they will be a lot noisier especially with hard pads

theyre not drilled just grooved

Grooved discs will howl

Nature of the beast, best of staying away from crossed drilled or grooved disc!

You dont need them, they dont do anything on a road car stick with plain discs and uprated the pads

TBH they should not howl that much. I have Black diamond drilled and grooved discs and Black Diamond Predator fast road pads and they don't howl at all. It sometimes depends also on the orientation of the grooves if that makes sense.

Here is a pic of mine and the orientation
