Blue Tooth problem

Featured Replies

Hi all. My wife has had her 1.2tsi Monte Carlo for about 2 weeks now ( great car) she had the blue tooth option fitted when ordering it. we collected the car and her phone connected no problem, and has worked fine for the past 2 weeks. Yesterday her MDI cable arrived so we connected it up to the MDI port and the USB stick to the cable to make sure it worked, all worked fine. The car was then put in out garage overnight, with the MDI cable & USB stick still connected. She has drove the car today and her phone wont connect and the phone option has vanished off of the maxi dot display. I have tried disconnecting the MDI cable but the phone option will not come back, as it stands at the moment she cant connect her phone to the car. Anyone got any ideas how to sort it ?

I think that's a trip to the dealers.

However you may still be able to get the phone to connect without the maxidot. The bluetooth module is visible for 3 min after the ignition is turned on. So turn on the ignition and then make the phone search for devices. Hopefully it'll find the car and you can re-pair it that way.
