Yetis 200 Up!

Featured Replies

There are now 200+ Yetis up for sale on the SUK official car locater.

Yetis for sale left, right and centre but the prices are still totally bonkers!.

Yep the prices are nuts, one thing though about the prices on the Skoda locator is that you have no idea of options/extras that are included the car, Initially seen mine and though it was price quite high, then when I went to the dealers website I found it was packed with options:

Sat Nav

Park Assist

Speaker Upgrade

Silver Roof rails/Mirrors/Bumper inserts and many more ..........

When I seen the OTR price with option included I had got a good bargain for a 3 month demo car with 3K on clock. Certainly would not get same car in time for this coming winter if ordered new as I was about to do. For many needing a car for this winter the Skoda car locator is the best way to hone down a search, but dealing with the dealers once you find actual spec explains the prices, which are goign to be haggled down / part exch etc.

Unless you want a 1.8TSI; one or two reasonable priced examples but the rest barking

Prices should start to fall now, over supply?

Finally seeing the same on the Superb.

Give it another year or so and I might even be able to afford one :giggle:

Just been looking at Auto Trader as you can interrogate it for more specifics than the SUK site.

There showing 159 Yetis available of which 58 come up as 4x4

Looking at our own survey however, the split between 2wd and 4x4 ownes is almost 50/50

204 2wd

219 4x4

Very basic comparison but you could argue I suppose that there is a greater shortage of 4x4 than 2wd.

Supply & demands chaps, I was told by 2 dealers when buying mine, the waiting list (for the CR170) is contributing to the price of the ex-demo cars so high, in fact If I could have waited for my order I would have been able to take a chunk off the car I was looking for, but wanting it for this winter means the prices are high, I still have a total bargain, the nearest car I seen to mine was a Tiguan CR170 R-Line 4Motion for £29K, 10K on clock 1 year old, no Sat Nav or PA.

With respect with 200 cars up for sale that must mean there is alot of supply but not much demand!.

I think most people are taking the buy new at less cost with the desired options, hence over expensive demo's are sat idle :wonder:

How many are CR170 4x4 Elegances? Remember I have been watching CR170 Elegances for the last 6 months, never seen more than 1-5 on sale on the locator. Other choice is ordering new, 6-8 month wait.

Just to show how daft the prices are,I compared an asking price against What Cars? data base.Im not saying What Cars? valuation is spot on but just a rough guide to go by.

1.2 tsi,5.3k on the clock,10/60 Reg,dealer asking price:£17500-00.What Car? recomends £15355-00.

Quite a difference.

Just noticed it's dropped back to 198, so someone's been buying themselves a Monster :)

Also spotted within the list a nice spec 1.2TSI Elegance; high miles for 10 plate at 20k but it has the Velux roof and Columbus sat nav, with silver paint and Gobi interior. Looks very smart.
