drive belt adjustment 1.3 mpi felicia without air-con

Featured Replies

hi all- will need to replace the auxillary belt on my felicia before too long, and cant figure out how the adjustment works- its completely different to the Haynes description - there is no slotted bracket to move the alternator- it looks likes the alternator is fastened top-and-bottom by 13mm bolts, with no movement to adjust against the belt- the car is a 2000 1.3 mpi without air-con. - many thanks in advance.

Does the belt also run round a roller? If so you need a 16mm spanner to rotate the tensioner to release it.
