Fabia 1.4 Automatic Cutting Out Fault

Hi guys. Wondering if anyone can shed any light on the following problems I'm having with the car.

Whilst driving, out of no-where the car slows down and loses power but then boosts up again before the Oil light comes on and beeps, followed by the Engine Mount light followed by the Power Steering dying. Turning the ignition off and on again resolves it every time. This problem will occur several times in the space of one week, then go several without a hitch.

A separate (I'm assuming although may be wrong) issue... Whilst driving, the Battery light comes on and the car cuts out as if it has stalled (which is odd since it's an Automatic). Again, turning the ignition off and on again resolves the problem.

So far, I have checked the Breather Hose which is fine and from reading several posts on this site, plan to check the 109 Relay.

I'm open to all suggestions and thoughts, so please fire away.
