Retractable bood cover needed

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I've had my Skoda Fabia Comfort Estate for over a year now. Although the paintwork is scruffy, the engine temperature sensor needs replacing and the door seals leak, I love the car. oh, and there's a problem with the brakes :-)

I occasionally carry tools in the back of the car, but I have no boot blind/tonneau/load-cover thingy, so am worried some cretin will take a shine to them and smash my back window.

I live in Bristol and was hoping to pick up one of these covers from a local scrap yard, but no-one here seems to do Skoda's. I've tried Skospares in bournemouth, but they tell me the parcel shelves go as soon as they come in. Even though I've registered the parts I with them months ago I've never been contacted to say they have one for me. I see them come up on ebay, but for silly prices including postage, and the dealer prices are steep.

Does anyone know of a skoda breaking near bristol, or is braking one themselves?

Thanks

Brett

I use a black cotton sheet for covering goods in transit, it's ideal and cheap.

DB.

I thought this thread was about something completely different

i know it's really old now, but it should have read 'Boot' not 'Bood', I managed to get one from skospares in bournemouth and arranged my own courier through collectmyparcel.com

Kinda forgot to login to update anything on here until I was tinkering with the car again recently.
