Just saying hello. I just picked up my first ever Skoda yesterday, it's an Octavia SLXi auto estate on a W and cost me the princely sum of £650

It's pretty much identical to our old VW Bora of the same vintage with the same 8v 2l 115bhp motor so I'm guessing the mechanicals are all the same as the Bora. The interior is a bit of a mess, looks like it was the school run car and dinner table, I have no idea how people can make such a mess of car seats!

Anyhoo, I'll get it all cleaned up and get the paint work and parking dings sorted out and hopefully it'll be a good little car for the next few years.

I need to replace the climatronic control panel, it's all working and readable but the LCD display is knackered so it's a little bit of guess work until I work it out.
