SKY HD Box DRX 890 300GB

Hi folks, I have 2 of these for sale, basically we have upgraded to Virgin as its cheaper.

I have 2 Amstrad SKY HD boxes, both are the Amstrad DRX890, 300GB VERSION (so 160gb personal space etc) its 18 months old, and works just fine.

After £45 each collected from dudley, west mids or £50 each delivered:) will get pics up shortly.

Would it work with a sky+ dish and wiring?

Yep, but you do need a HD subscription.and i think you need to be a subscriber to use the recording functions.

We have sky plus with subscription so we would need to get hd added for it to work even though we haven't got a hd TV?

No the HD box works just fine showing non HD channels. You just can't look at premium HD channels but things like BBC and C4 HD will all work fine.
