milltek sizes

Featured Replies

im hoping that a fount of knowledge can clear some confusion for me :S

I have just got a bargin, hiflow downpipe and sports cat part no msvw257 but what diameter is it, 2.5" or 3"???

also will the twin jet mssk13 backbox fit this downpipe, as from what i can find this is part of the all in one system at 2.76" dia.

Just dont want to drop the old exhaust off my car then not have the right bits/adaptors or sleeves to go back on or to be too short/long!

hope that all makes sense!

thanx in advance :D

The downpipe is 3" iirc and both the 2.5" and 2.75"

Systems will fit as it comes with a sleeve if brought new. You may have to get a sleeve if there's not one with it but it shouldn't be a lot

the 2.76" is a full turbo back system (and is expensive)

The downpipe and standard Milltek is 2.5" with the single oval tailpipe.

I went for a Piper 2.5" system for mine as I preferred the twin tailpipe.

That was what i was hoping for. just need to source adaptor sleeves and a new 3" downpipe gasket as the one that came with it has seen better days :D

Either try milltek direct or a local exhaust place should be able to sort you out
