Suggestions for a new head unit

Featured Replies

I'm looking around for a new head unit for my Octy 1

As I have to use an iPhone for work then being able to connect that and also use the head unit as a hands free would be good.

Anybody got any suggestions or tried a head unit they could recommend?

I have a hands free for my old phone (6310i) but we are now getting to the stage that they are hard to get hold of and dont do the email thing! (well they were only released in 2000!)

I had an Alpine BT103 in the Fun Truck. Single DIN, Bluetooth, MP3 etcetc. You need an 'optional' cable to connect it to and iPhone. Good value, all worked ok. :)

Clarion make very decent head units, the new kenwood units are good, 6051 has time alignment.

I have an Alpine Cde 9880 r In my Octy mk 1 together with brodit iPhone mount and lead. Works really well and reasonably priced at around £130 new
