Hi guys,

I've already replaced the breather pipe that comes out of the rocker cover as it was literally split in half. I've now found another split in the small ish hose that goes to the underside of the inlet manifold.

Looking at ordering these two pipes:

Other than hose clamps, will I need anything else? I can't see how the one coming out of the rocker cover will join to the lower one. :S

Also - any tips for making the replacement of these pipes any easier? There are so many other pipes and stuff in the way at the moment.

Best way to work rather than struggle this is my personal opinion(and the way i work) if it's in the way either take it off or undo it so it can be moved... i know which pipe is the barsteward of the 2 job's..... take the N249 bracket off (undo the 2 10mm nuts first that hold the plastic pipe thing) becareful as the dipstick guide is attached to this get a head torch as you'll need both hands

Nope you should be ok just with those pipes and new hose clamps, oh and some plasters handy for when you try and take the std clips off and catch your knuckles on the crap you can't quite see.

Ah yeah noticed that one of them comes with a metal bit for joining to the other pipe.

Just had an e-mail and the black and blue ones are out of stock for the next few weeks, does anyone know where else I could get black ones from?

I would also get a replacement plastic pipe that comes off breather box under inlet manifold as mine fell to bits when i did my breather pipes, its like a 90 degree bend

Think its about 20 quid from dealer, there is also a smaller hose under manifold i would get that aswell but that can be had off ebay

I got then pipes off ebay you do have to mod them slightly to fit right but i am quiet fussy

Now been told they will be in next week so I can wait that long for black ones...!

Volvomeg have you got any diagrams or pics? There are so many hoses under there and pretty dark outside now so can't look. Maybe I will take some bits off to try and get a better look at the other pipes under the inlet mani before the new ones arrive then do all of them in one go.

I just fitted forge breather pipes to mine wasn't that bad to do
