Hi wondering if anyone could diagnose my problem, my car is a 1.6 fun, and the temp gauge isnt working properly, when the car gets to temperature it only rises to the first black line, and when it starts to get really hot it rises to the middle, the rad fan is not cutting in as a result of this , anybody know what the cause of this is ?

prob the thermostat jammed open its a common fault. on a hot day the fan will prob cut in mine has started doing this the temp only rises to 70 when driving as soon as i'm stopped it rises to about 90ish but when i took it to spain it was 90 while driving and 100 when stopped. you can get a new thermostat off jorilly's website
