Iv heard some functions etc can be switch on via vagcom, any examples?

You can programme doors to automatically lock at a set speed. This is standard set on most I think.

Programme the keep to be able to open the windows whilst the cars turned off by pressing a set key routine.

I'm sure theres plenty more.

:D I was doing just that as you typed the reply.

I didn't think you could do the window thing without a third party device.

Sorry man only home after a 14hour day!!! Lazy mode

I like the headlights or sidelights coming on when u unlock the doors have seen this on some vags

Yep that's standard. I have an Alientech device that opens them if you press unlock 3 times on the remote.

And closed them with unlock-lock. Great when you get out of the car and have an open window. or want to cool the car before you get in in summer.

Not that great when you accidentally open the windows in the rain and have to open and close the drivers door to reset it before it will close them :D
