I assume if I have to disconnect the battery the radio will request I enter a pin number like the fords do. I cannot find a note of this anywhere ? the book mentions it being stored in the car ????

PS its a basic stream unit

The car is paired with the radio, so the car remembers the info.

The info/security number is not provided now for safety (people tended to leave it in the glove box with the manual, which is pointless) so you'll need to get it from a dealer.

I believe they need to get it from the car.
