Exhaust Manifold HELP

Featured Replies

Hi All,

My exhaust has been blowing since it had the mis-fortune of my wifes driving emoticon-0106-crying.gif

After a visit to Halfrauds Autocentre and a quote of £170 to remove and inspect the exhaust manifold, I decided to remove it myself and upon inspection found a hairline crack in one of the ports.

My question is does anybody have one lying around that they don't need? I know this is'nt the wanted section but Im kind of in a rush to get this done Engine No. AUQ Part No. 06A 253 033 AB.

Please Help Me

Pretty sure any VAG mk4 variant 1.8T manifold will be ok except for a 225bhp version (Cupra r, TT etc). Usually find one on Ebay.

Not a job for the faint hearted, I had one downpipe bolt snap and one of the threads in the turbo is f**ked.

But must keep smiling :S
