Where is my coil pack

Can any one tell me where to find this please, have been to told it may be the reason for causing my car to run crap and have no power. Engine management light is also on. Have been quoted £17.50 to replace these each is there a how to guide about

1.8T engines have individual coils, one per cylinder attached directly to the spark plug. HTH

You only really need to read up to about page 6-7 to get the general idea of what happens and what to do.

I had mine changed by a main dealer who I have never used so they dont need to " know " your car before doing it.

NB: The revision they should put in is Rev D

yeah rang the dealer and they have the car now so hopefully it is the car pack and they do it under the recall

RESULT....was the coil pack and the dealer has replaced them all under the recaal, and is even washing the car as i speak.

Thanks for the advice, would have never have known to contact the dealer and metnion this
