Are the CDR's or RW? WMA or MP£ files? Have you closed the session, or left it open?

Are you creating your mp3's with win media player?

I think that puts a licence on them or something and that stops them playing on other equiment.

I may be wrong here but i am sure i read something about this before.

personally I avoid win media player. and use other software to create mine

one other thing.

When creating MP3's. make them at 320kbps.

otherwise your sound quality will not be good in the car.

Thanks, what software are you using and will the head unit play mp3s from a dvd?

I tunes works fine with ours, when you burn the disc you can select wether or not its a cd or mp3 you want recorded and then the rest is history ....

I had this problem, then read somewhere on these pages that I had to use CR-RWs, problem solved.

Have you tried a different brand? Some writeable discs just don't play nicely.

Here is a free ripper

CD to MP3

Make sure to use 320kbps

I have no idea as to what headunit you use,

If it is a bolero then it will not play CDr

Why not use a sdhc card?

I have used this since getting my car. Never used a cdr.emoticon-0148-yes.gif

My Bolero plays CDRs, ripped CDs as MP3 using Media Player then written to CDR as data, allowing multiple albums on one disc.
